Biomechanics course coming in May

One of the leading names in biomechanics will be in Dublin in May to offer a special two-day course.

Martin Haines is one of the UK’s foremost experts on intrinsic biomechanics
and biomechanical screening and head of Intelligent Training Systems.
Martin is highly regarded in his field and is currently guest lecturer on a number of University programmes in the UK.

He has worked as Consultant to a host of Premiership and European Football Clubs, Olympic athletes like Steve Redgrave, Daley Thompson, Linford Christie, Roger Black, Derek Redmond, Team GB’s athletes in the London 2012 Olympics, Ryder Cup golfers, Wigan RLFC, England RFU players, NFL clubs New Orleans Giants and Chicago Bulls.

F1 drivers David Coulthard, Mika Hakkinen, along with their personal trainers and designers consulted him on the most ergonomic seat design for their individual physiques. He has also appeared as a sporting injuries pundit on programmes as diverse as Panorama and TalkSport.

As a result, the course in Dublin on May 24/25 is certain to be highly sought after by Athletic Trainers, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and other health and fitness professionals to help injury prevention and sports performance on the pitch, in the gym, on the track or training ground, even on the beat.

The course offers the opportunity to start to learn some of the unique and easy to apply screens and corrective exercises needed to become a ‘leader’ in your industry. It will consolidate over 20 years of Biomechanics Research into an instantly usable screening protocolm while it will complement existing screening protocols or give those new to screening an excellent platform in which to biomechanically screen their clients.

This course is quite simply the foundation to all activities and exercise programmes from the relatively deconditioned to elite athletes.
Due to the Intensive nature of this course, there are only 8 places per tutor available and a maximum of 16.
